What happened to seth mcfarlane and family guy?

i used to love family guy, made me laugh at least once in every episode. Even season 8 was pretty good but what the hell up with season 9? the only 2 good episodes i can think of are road to the multiverse and the one with the german guy forgot the episode name. Now family guy is really unfunny and doesn't even make any sense at all and American Dad and the Cleveland show are just stupid and unfunny why Seth Mcfarlane you're still funny in the comedy central roasts why'd you stop making funny shows?
