Is it ok to wear a shirt that says canada on it if ?...?

I am 21 year old latin girl but I came to Canada when I was about 5 and have lived here ever since. My friend got me a shirt that says CANADA on it. Is it okay to wear it in public even though I clearly don't look Canadian?
