HID light Begginer Questions. HELP PLEASE?

If you have halogen then stay that way. Hid is a very expensive route for upgrading your headlights. Hids are sold in color temperatures hence the 3000k -8000k. They do not use more electricity based on this rating. Hids do require a ballast to be able to instantly turn on when started. The setup is very dangerous if you are inexperienced as a shock from an hid unit may be fatal.
