I have moved into a new rented house. My six-year-old daughter's bedroom has cable lighting (halogen lights strung between two parallel cables). From her bunk bed (pine), she could touch the cables if she were to kneel up. How dangerous is this? If it is dangerous, is there a way to disable them without taking the whole thing down (we'll have to put it back the way it is now when we leave). Or should we just get rid of the bunk bed?
